Journeyman Plumber

A Journeyman Plumber performs basic plumbing installations or repairs, installations include fixtures and water, gas and sewer systems. They are entry-level workers who have plumbing experience that work under the supervision of a Plumbing Foreman. These professionals should display strong hand-eye coordination; the physical ability to crawl, crouch, and kneel for long periods of time; effective communication skills and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Apprentice Plumber

An Apprentice Plumber is an entry-level employee assisting more experienced staff with the installation and repair of plumbing. Common job duties include following suitable plumbing codes, installing hardware, assisting journeymen with various tasks, replacing defective parts, and installing alternative water sources. These professionals possess plumbing expertise, the ability to follow instructions, physical strength, customer service skills, attention to details, and teamwork.

Service & Repair Plumber

A Service and Repair Plumber performs basic plumbing installations or repairs, such as replacing faucets or installing water lines. They are entry-level workers who have plumbing experience that work under the supervision of a Service and Repair Plumbing Manager. These professionals should display strong eye-hand coordination; the physical ability to crawl, crouch, and kneel for long periods of time; and effective customer service skills.

Equipment Operator

An Equipment Operator handles heavy equipment and assists in the completion of construction projects. Common job duties include preparing sites, installing and maintaining equipment, collaborating with other workers, transporting materials, driving trucks, and ensuring safety. These professionals should demonstrate attention to safety, accuracy, stamina, physical strength, good communication skills, and teamwork.
